"Look!! There's a horse that's empty - and I know how to fix it!" says Julie. So she climbed aboard Big Al, scourge of the Big Time Rodeo Riders.

Julie had her Mom, I mean groom, hold onto her while she located her dad from the amazing height of Al's back. After she made sure he was alert, she told her groom to let 'er rip. But it didn't work; sometimes the hired help just doesn't listen.

Julie was calm and reasoned and stuck with her guns. She had a hard time convincing people to JUST LEAVE HER AND AL ALONE! but she was firm and they responded to it finally.

It was great to get Al moving. Julie felt so natural, she did a "Look, Mom, no hands!"
She let her Mom help her while she checked out her Dad again. It was tough to leave Al, but Julie knows where the REAL horses are kept now, so Al and I are ready for her any time.
