The photo on the left is of a Young Bonnie on (maybe?) her first horse ride. Who 'da figured that she'd end up riding the Wild Thang on the right. Funny how things turn out.

Vannie was goofing the arena in October, 2002 and here's the record of it. Notice Vannie's posture on the last picture to the right in the top row - familiar to anyone who's ever crossed a bridge beside her!
The photos below are from a ride Bonnie and I did in August, 2002. Our goal was to do an endurance ride from the barn. We made it about 28 miles, we reckoned and saw some really beautiful country. Ali and I won, and Bonnie and Vannie got Best Condition. We were all very proud of ourselves. I'm not actually positive that we saw the teepee on that ride, but it is a local landmark, so I just plugged it in here.

Vannie and her Valentine, 2002. Don't be thinking hearts and flowers, though: she was so deeply in heat that she scared poor Elvis. He was okay as long as she was facing him, but if she reversed? He bolted for the high pasture and hid behind Ms. L.

hat and in the round pen, where she cut loose after the photo
shoot.
