First Week
The first week at home, Jien got used to having a stall, living in a paddock and sharing a wall with Zeph, although even Cody dropped by to see her. I was up at the barn every day, and started getting her used to being touched. I didn't make it to her back legs, but I got to the point where I could get to all points on her front half. Oh yeah, she had never seen a tree up close, or climbed a hill - her ranch was pretty flat, so she had a couple of new experiences that a coastal pony wouldn't have to worry about. Notice her chewing the rope - her curiosity is turning out to be her most salient characteristic.
