We had a cabin in Winthrop, Washington which we sold in 2005? We took the long drive up to clean it out before putting it up for sale. It was Buzz's first long ride in our van, but he seemed to take it in stride.

The best part was waking up the next morning and seeing that Jerry (aka Geraldo) and Shamus (aka Shameless) were waiting to check him out! Being Buzz, he assumed that they were there to play.
They were not so sure; they had serious sniffing on their agenda. However, Buzz was Viszla-persistent: totally charming, but committed to success. First, he got Shameless interested. Then Geraldo got sucked in. Then they played all day, all places.

Shameless and Geraldo tried to lead Buzz out on great adventures, but he declined to go very far without us, although he did make it to the property line. We (Wayne, me, Buzz, Shameless and Geraldo) took several short walks around the hilltop during our stay. Buzz flushed his first pheasant and, I must admit, it scared the daylights out of all of us.
	Shameless and Jerry were at the front door each morning at 6:30, and they left to go get dinner at home, about 6:30 PM. According to report, neither of them moved apres dinner - and we're sure Buzz didn't. In point of fact, the only time he roused himself on the 17 hour drive home was to slurp up this strawberry milkshake Wayne bought him. I was trying to get his strawberry pink nose, but I got this powerful picture of a Vizsla tongue instead.
