Buzz in the Litter

Buzz was bred in the wilds of Northern California, Sebastopol, to be exact. His parents were hard working, hunting Vizslas. The pictures below show his Dad, Sava, and his Mom, Flare. No editorializing intended, but Sava's the one striking poses and sniffing the flowers, Flare's the one in the middle photo, feeding the kids. In Flare's picture, taken when the litter was two weeks old, Buzz is the big one in the middle with his head buried in the puppy trough. This will be a continuing theme in Buzz's story

At three weeks, Buzz was already distinguishing himself. You can pick him out of the bunch because (1) he is huge and (2) has a white sort of spot in the middle of his forehead. The white has faded now, but it was very distinctive for awhile.

We went up to Sebastopol and saw the pups about every week or so until they were nine weeks old. The following are a photos showing The Buzzalator's progress from about 3 weeks to nine weeks. When he has a collar on, it's the brown one. And, as noted previously, just look for the Big Dog, at least in the Vizsla world.
