Buzz in Costume

This is a picture of Wayne's mother, Kelley, with Buzz. She is (1) a wonderful and creative seamstress and (2) insists that Buzz is her best looking grandchild. (Sorry Lorri and Sherrie - just ask Kelley if you think I'm lyin'.) Anyhow, it is Kelley's habit to make her grandchildren Halloween costumes, and Buzz was included. See below.
This might have been the highlight of Buzz's dress-up career. You probably can't tell from the photo, but it was an iridescent fish costume, complete with a tail that went over HIS tail, so when he wagged his tail, the fish tail wagged, too. We made him wear it to dog school and he scared all his buddies - they'd have nothing to do with him.
This was his dinosaur costume. He had a great time meeting little kids at the door on Halloween; they really admired each other's costumes.
This was the costume that most closely matched his personality - it was a doggie coat with tails and, of course, a top hat.
We thought he looked cooler in just the top hat.
Of course Kelley sent him a Santa hat, which he wore pretty consistently through The Season, including play periods.
The next two photos are our lame efforts at dressing him up. This one is Buzz wearing his Electronic Freedom Foundation hat, although he was pretty apolitical, usually.
I don't remember why, but we stuffed these Autumn leaves in his collar and made him parade around that way. Buzz was an infinitely tolerant dog.
Finally, The Ghostly Buzz. He made a hole in his blanket and used to stare out of it. He *does* look pretty creepy.
